I have always loved photography, even back to my early elementary school years. I can remember always borrowing my grandmother’s instant camera growing up to take random photos of my favorite books, favorite outfits and of family & friends. If you look through my grandmother’s photo albums from the early 1990’s you’ll notice a number of random photos taken by me, pictures of squirrels that I randomly spotted, or of my Babysitter Club books lined up neatly. While I enjoyed taking the photos at the time, I enjoy looking back on them even more. Certain pictures will spark memories and remind me of my childhood, I love showing the boys what it was like when I was growing up with walk mans, landlines phones, and even my first television.
I must have been about 10 when I received my first film camera for Christmas, it’s funny how a film camera was so cool back then, now they’re ancient and my children wouldn’t even know what they were. After a few years after, I received my first digital camera, and a few years after that my husband surprised me with my first DSLR camera.
Almost all of our tech items including my current DSLR was purchased at Best Buy and I’d eventually like to upgrade it as new features are becoming available.
