Get the kids up and active with the new LeapBands from LeapFrog and CLIF Kid Zbar Protein bars! On September 6th, LeapFrog set out to break a world record to help get kids up and active with a Fit Made Fun Day. The boys along with a few of their friends participated in the action-packed Fit Made Fun Day along with two LeapBands and variety of CLIF Kid bars.
The new LeapFrog LeapBand is an activity tracker that encourages children to participate in fitness activities with their customizable virtual pet pals. Both J & T and a few of their friends are quite familiar with pet pals from the LeapPad3 and could not wait to participate in fun activities. The LeapBand suggests fun fitness activities and challenges that reward with points (jewels), the more points the child earns, the faster they level up and earn additional rewards are unlocked for their virtual pets.
Throughout the day we had children hopping throughout the house like frogs, jumping like kangaroos, and running around for 30 seconds intervals. The fitness challenges boost up self-confidence and engage the children as there is cheering and music playing. Once the challenge is complete, jewels are rewarded and children get to see their treasure box fill up.
Each child got to test out the LeapBands first hand, alternating back and forth between the two LeapBands. They were such a huge hit we had to plug them in to recharge while the children refreshed with water and CLIF Kid Zbar Protein bars. The Clif Kid Zbar Protein are a whole grain protein snack made with fiber, no high fructose corn syrup, synthetic preservatives or artificial flavors.
Mom & Dad enjoy CLIF bars, and now the kids can too! With three delicious flavors; chocolate chip, peanut butter chocolate, and chocolate mint, the kids can sit down, refresh, and head out for more active play.
