I have been anxiously waiting for the spring time to arrive after this harsh winter. Not only are the boys enjoying being able to play outside in the driveway riding their bikes but I’m able to spruce up the front of the house with colorful flowers. For the past few weeks I have been trying to decide what to plant in our flower pots in the front yard, do I want a variety of flowers or pinks & purples? The flowers were located in the outdoor plant section and were easy to find due to the logo on the side of the potted plants. I love pinks & purples and quickly decided on the Miracle-Gro® Flowering Plants Spreading Petunias for our front yard.
After picking up some potting soil and flower pots for the front yard and our front stairs we headed home to plant our flowers. In just a few days I have already noticed more Petunias blooming and the spreading, I can’t wait to see what they look like in a couple weeks. Since it’s recommended to plant the spreading petunias 24-28 inches apart I’m sure they’ll fill up the flower pots with bright colorful flowers in no time.
