Start The New Year With Walgreens + Walgreens Prize Pack Giveaway

As the new year beings, it is the perfect time to curb those bad habits. Like last year, we have been making changes within our household to live a healthier lifestyle. Loosing weight and becoming more active has been my new year’s resolution for the past few years, and while I always leap into the new year eating healthier and working out, it slowly ends especially with the temperature often in the negatives in the winter. Last year we did pretty good as a family, but there is always room for improvement and a few more pounds I would like to lose. This year instead of one specific resolution, we are working on a number of things to make our family and household healthier and happier.

This year my husband is more on board with the food choices that we make, eating healthier meals at home more often, with a lot less take out. I have found that meal prepping has helped tremendously, and this past weekend my husband and I sat down and made a menu with ideas for the month, then set out to the grocery store to pick up the ingredients. Living a healthier lifestyle doesn’t just include the food choices that we make, but making sure we drink enough water, take care of oral health, make sure we get enough sleep, and stay active.
