This winter has been dragging on, it seems like as soon as the snow starts to disappear we get another storm and we’ve had well over a foot on the ground for the past few weeks. I have been anxiously awaiting the spring, especially with that one random mid 50s day we had this past week. Of course we had to spend that beautiful day outside riding bikes, and shopping for spring clothes! We had the chance to visit our local Carter’s to check out some of their newest spring fashion trends for kids. I got a little to anxious picking out shorts, short sleeve shirts, and bathing suits!
There was some fabulous deals going on when we visited, and I was able to stretch my buck even more when I paired the sales with a coupon. Not only did the boys pick out some fabulous spring apparel, but we also picked out Easter shirts! I’m always shopping last minute for holidays and never can find something I like, but this time I shopped early and I love the pastel button up shirts for the boys.
With both of the boys turning 4 and 6 recently, they are both moving on up in sizes. This spring J will need a whole new wardrobe since his spring/summer clothes from last year wont fit. He was excited to pick out a couple new pairs of pajamas, shirts, and pants, and his favorite, the shark print swim trunks & rash guard top.
I don’t know whose more anxious for the spring weather, the boys or myself. I can’t wait until the boys can play in the driveway all day long, and J can’t wait to wear his new spring clothes from Carter’s.
