Red, White & Blue Dessert Cups
Looking for a quick and easy red, white, and blue recipe to make for that annual Labor Day cook-out? Try these simple dessert cups made with angel food cake, fruit, whipped cream and patriotic sprinkles.
If time allows you can make the angel food cake yourself or pick one up at your local grocery store/bakery. This dessert is not only enjoyed by adults but the whipped cream and sprinkles instantly attract the kids.
Ingredients
- Angel food cake
- Blueberries
- Strawberries - diced
- Whipped Cream
- Patriotic sprinkles
Instructions
- Cut angel food cake up into bite sized pieces.
- Fill individual cups with angel food, strawberries & blueberries
- Top with whipped cream & sprinkles
- Serve immediately.
Notes
*If you are not serving immediately, wait to put on whipped cream until ready to serve.
Great way to use angel food cake. One of my favorite dessert. A much better option too. Love the berries.
