Banana Berry Smoothie Bowls
This Banana Berry Smoothie post is a project of The Women Bloggers and Kendal King Group on behalf of our client.
Up until recently I never thought to use the Gerber Cereal for anything other than cereal for the baby. With both of the kids I always had boxes and boxes leftover once they “outgrew” it. Some boxes expired before I noticed, some were given away to friends, and others were donated to the local food panty.
After being challenged to come up with additional ways to use the cereal I made these better for you muffins that the boys love. This past week I also added it in with our fruit smoothies, except I made smoothies bowls topped with fresh fruit instead of our typical smoothies.

By mixing in the Gerber Oatmeal Cereal, we receive additional iron, six B Vitamins, Vitamins E and C, Iron, Zinc and Calcium into our diet.

Banana Berry Smoothie Bowls:
Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup fruit juice
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 3 T Gerber Oatmeal
- 1/3 cup blueberries
- 1/3 cup strawberries
- 1/2 cup banana
- fresh berries to top
Directions:
- Blend all ingredients in blender until smooth
- Pour into bowl and top with fresh fruit.
* You can also add the smoothie mixture into popsicle molds and freezer for a cool & refreshing treat this summer.

I really like how you decorated the top of yours. Sure the very intricate and tons of toppings is pretty to look at, but realistically it’s not something you would do everyday. I would sprinkle some chia seed on it too!
I was trying to think of something yummy to make for breakfast this morning, and this just might be it!
What an interesting use for this! I usually drink smoothies every morning, so I could enjoy this recipe!
Looking good like to try this
