Stepping foot into Babies R Us for the first time as a new parent can be overwhelming there are so many options available . What gear would be the most beneficial and what will just collect dust in the corner or the closet. While they were sitting in the Bumbo and playing with toys I could fold laundry, or cook dinner knowing they were in a safe spot. I didn’t have to worry about them falling backwards and hitting their head, they were securely in their seat.

The Bumbo Play Tray is also available which provides a convenient surface for playing with toys, or for eating Cheerios. One thing I loved about the Bumbo is easy to clean and portable. I can easily put it in the trunk or in the back seat for traveling or when we headed to grandma’s house. My grandmother’s house was anything but bomb-proof which made laying the boys on the floor on blanket impossible knowing their could be pills on the floor. Placing them in the Bumbo on the floor kept their hands off the carpet and in a safe spot.
