Are you Active-Duty Military or have a family member that is Active Duty? If so I highly recommend signing up for the Sears Heroes at Home Wish Registry Program.
The Sears Heroes at Home Wish Registry Program provides members of Active Duty Military with gift cards to Sears to help them out with the holiday seasons. The money for the gift cards is donated by Sears, Businesses and from individuals like you. You may notice the next time you go to Sears that they are taking donations for the program.
I have been told that the registration for the Sears Heros at Home Wish Registry Program, will open between September 28th and the first week of October. Spots are limited and you only have a limited time to sign up. Once Registration ends you cannot sign up.
Our first year doing the Sears Heroes at Home Wish Registry Program, which was 2 years ago, we received a Gift Card to use at Sears, which you can also use at Kmart. We received around $250, plus we also received an additional $100 to use towards Christmas Decorations! The first year we received a gift card in the mail but last year they started sending out e-giftcards that are sent via email in disbursements on specific dates, you just print out your e-giftcard and you can use it at any Sears or Kmart locations.
