This summer we have been spending our weekends outdoors and by our lake, so I have been making sure to always have some snacks on hand for my two active little boys. Snacks that are easy to pack and don’t make a mess that our whole family will enjoy. This past week Green Giant sent us two of their new veggie snack chips to try out. Our family is familiar with Green Giant as we have purchased their canned and frozen vegetables numerous times, but I never knew they had snacks, until now. We received two different flavors of their veggie snack chips – the Roasted Veggie Tortilla Chip – Garden Ranch and Multigrain Sweet Potato Chip – Barbecue. I’ve had this huge craving for ranch lately, so opening up the box and seeing that flavor made my day.
Knowing that we would be heading back up to our families lake house for the week I made sure to pack up the veggie chips. I’m glad I brought them as they were a huge hit with not only the boys, but with myself and my husband too. After a busy day of boating and swimming I opened up the two bags and we all sat on the dock and munched on the new Green Giant™ snacks. As soon as the boys spotted the “chips” they didn’t think twice about reaching into the bag. I thought I’d get some funny facial expressions since they were not the normal chips that we have purchased, but instead they said “yum” and reached in for seconds, thirds, fourths…and before long the bag of Green Giant™ Roasted Veggie Tortilla Chip – Garden Ranch was almost empty.

These chips were unlike any we have ever tried, and they were quite delicious. They were crunchy, full of flavor and didn’t leave your hands with a greasy feeling. The Green Giant™ Roasted Veggie Tortilla Chip – Garden Ranch seemed to be the overall winner between myself, the boys, and my husband. We will definitely be purchasing the Green Giant™ Roasted Veggie Chips again and look forward to trying the two additional flavors – Roasted Veggie Tortilla Chips – Zesty Cheddar and Multigrain Sweet Potato Chips – Sea Salt
