Cool Down This Summer With WONKA Peel-A-Pops

This post is brought to you by Wonka Peel-A-Pops. All opinions are 100% my own.

This summer has been filled with saying goodbye to friends, moving, and meeting new friends. J was upset about leaving all of his friends and cousins behind but he’s been making friends easily in our new town, and we lucked out with some awesome neighbors with kids the same ages as J & T. After receiving a box full of goodies from the Wonka Brand the boys couldn’t wait to have some of their new friends over to share the excitement and try out the  new Wonka Peel-A-Pops.

Peel-A-Pop

For the past few weeks all I’ve heard about is Peel-A-Pops aka “banana pops” after making the mistake of letting the kids see all of the boxes in the freezer. “Mom, can we have a banana pop?” “Mom’, if I eat all my dinner can I have a banana-pop pretty please!” I found them in the frozen food section at our local Walmart marked for about $3.75 a box and the kids have been begging for them since, anxiously awaiting for the day to dig in. The Peel-A-Pop frozen treats are the latest product from the Wonka Brand.

The Wonka Peel-A-Pops are frozen treats that can be peeled just like a banana to revel an inner vanilla ice cream dessert. The peels are edible and come in two different flavors – Vanilla Banana and Vanilla Grape. J & T both love bananas and popsicles and thought these frozen treats were the greatest. Two treats in one – the peeling & eating!

After all the hype I was anxious to see how the Peel-A-Pops would turn out, I quickly got a thumbs up from a number of the children including two of my own, and out of all of the kids, only 1 preferred something else. Majority of the children were throwing away their sticks within minutes and asking if they could try out the opposite flavor. The Vanilla Banana seemed to be a little more popular then the Vanilla Grape, but the Peel-A-Pops were definitely a big hit, and would be purchased again.

I love Wonka Candy. These treats on these pictures look so delicious. When I was a kid I love frozen bananas that had been dipped in chocolate.

  3. Alysia always gets excited by the Wonka stuff; it’s funny because it’s such an old movie but kids love it. We haven’t ben seen these pops in our store yet but we are sure to try them.

Wow! This is such a clever, fun, delicious and all around GOOD idea! (Why didn’t somebody come up with this 40 years ago?! (Like Debra above ~ I used to LOVE frozen chocolate dipped bananas ~ especially homemade.)

That said, these Wonka Candy treast are one of the only treats “made/designed” for children that I find myself really wanting for myself too ~ and that is something!
