This past Monday I visited the new Porter Square Walgreens in Cambridge MA, not only did I get to check out their new Wellconnected section but I also got to meet Nick Cannon and his new line of headphones from Monster Products.
The Porter Square location is the only Walgreens that has the Wellconnected section that features an expanded assortment of the latest technology including mobile accessories, cell phones, Bluetooth and connected devices from popular brands Sony, iHome, and Fitbit. Products are on display so you’ll be able to test them out first hand and see which one works best for you. The selection of premium headphones includes the Monster NCredible NTune Headphones – that Nick Cannon helped to design. You can also find portable power, tablets, Wi-Fi hot spots, mobile cases, covers, video games and new DVD releases. Stuck trying to decide on a movie to purchase, or not sure if you’re picking up the right one, simply press the button and a preview will appear on the T.V.

Nick Cannon, host of America’s Got Talent, was on hand to help launch his Monster NCredible NTune Headphones in the new Wellconnected Section. Fans were screaming in excitement as they got to stand in line for a meet & greet with Nick Cannon, pose for photographs and autographs. There were giveaways throughout the day and number of fans went home with new Monster NCredible NTune Headphones autographed by Nick Cannon.
In addition to the Wellconnected section, the Porter Square Walgreens also features a LOOK Boutique beauty department, fresh food and an enhanced state-of-the-art pharmacy. - LOOK Boutique Beauty Department: The LOOK Boutique beauty department features cosmetic, skincare and hair care brands not typically found in drugstores including GOSH Cosmetics and Pop Beauty. There is a beauty specialist on site available to answer any questions and also to provide mini-makeovers.
- State-of-the-Art Pharmacy: The pharmacy offers ExpressRx kiosks where you can easily pay & pick up your prescription without standing in line. Simply order your prescription online, through the app, or call and visit the kiosk to pay and pick up. Immunizations are also available as well as a Pharmacists out front to help answer any questions or concerns.
