Winters seem to last forever in our house, not only is it cold outside but sickness seems to linger on, especially with my oldest son and myself who suffer from allergies and asthma. The Luma Comfort AP400W Air Purifier features three different air speeds, on the highest air speed it sounds like a fan on med/low. It is a sound that we have grown accustomed to and we don’t even realize it is on. The kids can watch t.v., play, read books, and sleep all with the air purifier on, they have not once complained out the sound. Although it is larger then our previous air purifier, it is lightweight and is portable, easy to move from room to room if needed.
