Eddie Bauer: Complete Care Play Yard Review

When I was pregnant with Little Man I was overwhelmed with all of the new baby gear. I remember play yards being plain and simple when my cousins were young, but now there are play yards with nightlights, bassinets, and changing tables. We travel quite often so an all in one play yard was on our must have list when Little man was born. Since we can’t pack up a bassinet, crib, and changing table to bring on our trips to Michigan, an all in one play yard that packed up small was perfect.

Eddie Bauer Complete Care Play Yard:
The Eddie Bauer Complete Care Play Yard can be used as a play yard as well as a bassinet, it also offers an elevated changing table with a parent organizer. It has ten different soothing songs
and sounds, a 2-speed vibration, wind up mobile with three soft animals and a nightlight.

Features:

    • 3 modes of use: Bassinet, changing station, and play yard
    • Flip & store changer holds baby wipes container and diapers
    • Full-size bassinet
    • Soft mesh sides for breathability and visibility
    • 10 soothing songs and sounds
    • 2-speed vibration
    • Nightlight
    • Mobile
    • Carrying Bag

When the boys were younger I kept them in our room, we purchased a bassinet and I changed their diapers on our bed during the night instead of walking all the way to their room. I would also have to turn on our bedside lamp which was bright and would wake up my husband. The Eddie Bauer Complete Care Play Yard would have been perfect to keep at our bedside. It would have a bassinet as well as a changing table, and the nightlight would have been great for midnight feedings. The nightlight is very
easy to turn on and allows just enough light so that you can see you
little one.

The Eddie Bauer Complete Care Play Yard was very simple to put together, the play yard itself came already assembled, I just had to attach the changing table and the parent tray together, they then slide right into the play yard for use.

Now that Baby Boy is older and does not need the bassinet feature, we use the play yard for naps or for quiet time. At 15 months, Baby Boy fits perfectly in the play yard while he naps and he has plenty of room to grow. He likes the vibration feature, and the music soothes him while he falls asleep. I like also being able to put him in the play yard with a few toys during the day if I need to get a few things done and want to make sure he doesn’t get into anything.

The play yard is easy to change into a bassinet. The bassinet lining
clips and velcros into the play yard, and there are two metals poles for
extra support. Once you add the metal poles, you lay in the bedding,
and your bassinet is complete.

I love how easily the Play Yard is to set up and take down. It comes with a carrying bag with storage pocket and also has wheels so you can roll it around. It is compact and fits perfectly in the back of our SUV for our long tips to Michigan, or even for day trips to the grandparents.
