Breakfast On-The-Go With Quaker Breakfast Shakes + Walmart Gift Card Giveaway

This post was created in partnership with Quaker. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

As much as I try to plan ahead and organize the mornings can always seem a little bit hectic, especially days on which I have to get both boys off to school, run errands and attend a meeting. While I always make sure to get the kids a full breakfast every morning, I sometimes slack myself. I know how breakfast is the most important meal and I try to always eat something but some days I just don’t have time to sit down a eat a meal so I prefer on-the-go options like the Quaker Breakfast Shakes. I can just grab a shake on my way out the door.

The Quaker Breakfast Shake are available in three different flavors: Chocolate, Strawberry and Vanilla. I recently had the opportunity to try out the strawberry and chocolate flavors and being a chocolate lover, the chocolate Quaker Breakfast Shake definitely hit the spot.

Each shake contains 8 grams of whole grain oats, 10 grams of protein, 6 grams of fiber and 200 calories. When I do get breakfast I try to get something with protein to leave me feeling fuller longer. These 11.1 oz shakes are perfect to drink at home, in the car, or even on the walk into work.

I lay out clothes and everything the night before, and get up a little earlier than usual to feed them kids!

Nice thing right now is I just have one kid that has to make it to school in the morning. SO with that said, some mornings my other two will be thrown in the car wrapped in their blankets with their nightgowns on and no shoes so we can make it! Then we come home and that’s when morning can start!

I prepare a lot of the things I used to do in the morning. I have clothes laid out for everyone, backpacks by door and breakfast planned.
