Besides packing and unpacking one of my least favorite things about moving recently has been finding a new preschool for T. We have been more than thrilled with our previous preschool that both of the boys attended, and if we had not moved 3 hours away T would still be attending. Not only did they have fantastic teachers but an excellent curriculum. The aren’t nearly the amount of preschools available in our new town, and nothing within an hour away that offered the amount of structure we were used to, so this year I will be working with T at home 3 days a week for 4 hours while J is attending 1st grade.

The ice cream cone helps to reinforce colors, build fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination as colors are stacked and unstacked. T and I often sit down at the table during “school time” and play games by stacking a certain color, or a certain number of scoops.
This set has been used both indoors and outdoors the past few weeks as the boy enjoy pretending they own an ice cream stand serving friends and family on hot summer days. Hours of ice cream fun, and no messes to clean up!
