Ice Cream Fun With No Mess! Smart Snacks Rainbow Color Cones #Giveaway

This post is brought to you in partnership with Learning Resources. All thoughts are 100% my own.

Besides packing and unpacking one of my least favorite things about moving recently has been finding a new preschool for T. We have been more than thrilled with our previous preschool that both of the boys attended, and if we had not moved 3 hours away T would still be attending. Not only did they have fantastic teachers but an excellent curriculum. The aren’t nearly the amount of preschools available in our new town, and nothing within an hour away that offered the amount of structure we were used to, so this year I will be working with T at home 3 days a week for 4 hours while J is attending 1st grade.

We have a number of  quality educational toys from Learning Resources including the  Smart Snacks® Shape Sorting Cupcakes, Three Bear Family® Counters, and Pretend & Play® Camp Set, and new for 2014 we have received the Smart Snacks® Rainbow Color Cones.

I have always been impressed with the durability of the Learning Resources line, and the Smart Snacks® Rainbow Color Cones is no different.  This set features 10 different colors and two cones that has provided my children with hours of play time while helping T to identify his colors and numbers.

The fun ice cream theme allows for creative playtime and also makes learning fun. What child doesn’t enjoy ice cream? The ice cream cone helps to reinforce colors, build fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination as colors are stacked and unstacked. T and I often sit down at the table during “school time” and play games by stacking a certain color, or a certain number of scoops.
