While the kids are young, I try to make their lunches fun and exciting. They both are growing so fast and during lunch they love to sit and talk about their foods, shapes, and colors, Tyler particularly. Lately they have been so intrigued by food and where it comes from, Tyler wants to know what shape it is, while Jacob is into sounding out words and tries to guess the beginning letter.

Knowing that Jolie Ravioli is based out of New York, just a few hours away, left me more anxious to give it a try. Jolie Ravioli is 100% Natural Assorted Fun Shaped Ravioli for kids that contain no trans fats, no additives, no preservatives, and no artificial colors. Each resealable bag is filled with different shaped ravioli including teddy bears, stars, cars, dinosaurs, hearts and rocket ships. Simply boil the ravioli for 10 minutes and serve it plain or with any sauce/topping of choice, the boys preferred theirs with homemade tomato sauce.
There are four different flavors of Jolie Ravioli: Traditional Cheese, Cheese & Broccoli, Pizza-Roli’s, and Mac & Cheezy. Both of the boys were excited when they first spotted the fun shapes, Jacob had to try one of each shape, while Tyler was amazed at a rocket ship ravioli. According to the kids, star, dinosaur, and rocket ship shape ravioli taste so much better the squares.
Some days are hard trying to get them to eat their vegetables, but the Broccoli and Cheese Ravioli’s were gone before the boys even asked what was in them. Each time I open up a bag of Jolie Ravioli, they cannot wait to pick out the fun-filled shapes.
