10 Ways To Have More Fun with Your Kids

As a busy mom of three kids I’m always looking for ways to make life fun and exciting. It’s easy to get overwhelmed taking care of the house, the dogs, the kids and running them back and forth between all of their after school activities so I try to squeeze in some fun moments. Some days it may be a picnic in the backyard sitting in the grass instead of at the dinner table, making the kids a themed lunch, or tossing a fun snack in their lunch bag. I love having them walk in the door and telling me how excited they were to open up their lunchboxes.

10 Simple Ways To Have More Fun with Your Kids

  • Make a funny picture on a sticky note and put it in their lunchbox
  • Turn the music up in the morning and bust out some dance moves.
  • Make a themed lunch – shape sandwiches using a cookie cutter
  • Add a fun snack in their lunchbox
  • Wake up a few minutes early and make food art with their breakfast – rainbow waffles ect.
  • Have a picnic in the backyard on a blanket instead of sitting at the dinner table
  • Make breakfast for dinner
  • Have a backyard campout, or put up the tent in the house if there’s room.
  • Turn breakfast or lunch into a buffet – my kids LOVE buffets
  • Stop by the park, even if it’s only for 5- 10 minutes.

Teddy Soft Bakes

One of the easiest ways to put a smile on their face, is to have fun with their school lunch. They open it right in the middle of the day and it helps rejuvenate them for the rest of the afternoon. To help save time during the morning rush I prep all of their school lunches on Sunday night, that way they can just grab a lunch from the fridge, a freezer pack, and a snack and they’re ready to go. This week I picked up the new TEDDY SOFT BAKED Filled Snacks at Walmart that I found in the cookie/cracker isle. I couldn’t decide which variety so I picked up both the Teddy Soft Bakes Vanilla Filling and Teddy Soft Bakes Chocolate Filling to let the kids decide.

I planned to surprise the kids by hiding the snack in their lunchbox on Monday but Trevor spotted the loveable bear-shaped snacks in the pantry during the weekend and had to give one a try. Since they were having a hard time deciding which flavor we split two in half so that they could try both varieties, it was a close call but I think the Teddy Soft Bakes Chocolate Filling came out on top although the boys wouldn’t pass up the Vanilla filling either.

These TEDDY SOFT BAKED Filled Snacks are made with quality ingredients including milk, eggs and chocolate. They contain no high fructose corn syrup, no artificial flavors and no artificial colors. They also come individually wrapped making them a convenient snack option for at school or on the go.
