Skip the takeout, this Baked Sweet and Sour Chicken will become family favorite. Bite sized pieces of chicken breast are coated in a homemade sweet and sour sauce and baked to perfection. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions and serve on top of your favorite rice.

Chicken coating:
3-4boneless chicken breasts
salt & pepper
1cupcornstarch
2eggsbeaten
1/4cupolive oil
Sweet and sour sauce:
3/4cupsugar
4tbsketchup
1/2cupdistilled white vinegar
1tbssoy sauce
1tspgarlic salt
sesame seedsoptional
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 325 degrees.
Cut chicken breast into cubes. Season with salt & pepper to taste.
Heat 1/4 cup olive oil in a large skillet.
Dip chicken into the cornstarch to coat then dip into the eggs. Cook chicken in skillet until browned, it doesn't need to be cooked through, just lightly browned.
Place in a 9×13 greased baking dish.
Whisk together the sweet and sour sauce ingredients in a bowl then pour evenly over the chicken.
Bake for one hour, turning chicken over every 15 minutes.
Serve over rice, and top with sesame seeds. (optional)
