As long as this is mirroring your data on the laptop and vice versa then great. I just wanted to comment that if you were to lose the Seagate drive that you have easy access to 100% of the data that is on that disk. I always ask people “how do you backup your backup?” Happy snapping.

This slim version seems much more easier to connect and easily transfer files while being small enough to take everywhere. And 500 GB is a lot of space!
