It was to where if I smelled it or ate it, my throat would close up. I started gradually introducing it and now at 30, I’m able to eat it. In small amounts. Always check with your DR though. Some allergies can be fatal.

My nephew is allergic to peanuts (& other things.) Here’s the thing: when we tried to feed him anything with peanut butter when he was a toddler he refused it. He said “I don’t ‘yike’ it.” (baby talk, lol.) Now, I don’t know if it was just a coincidence or if he was getting tingles, etc., on his tongue due to allergy. But if they don’t like it, how do you get them to eat it? That could be a problem.
