You have tightened the handlebar with the fork pointing BACKWARDS. The Mykick lettering should be the other way round. As it is, the rake (bend) in the fork is pointing straight down whereas it should be pointing slightly forwards. Having it round the wrong way shortens the wheelbase and makes it less stable and more twitchy to steer.

PLEASE REPLACE YOUR PHOTOS – IT IS DANGEROUS HAVING THE BIKE SET UP WRONGLY!

This bike would be perfect for him. He would have so much fun being included with his older brothers and sisters riding bikes. What a great bike.
