Birthday Bash: Playskool Rocktivity Jump n Jam Guitar {Giveaway}

During the summer months when we visit my brother he is almost always playing his guitar outside or has it somewhere close. Ty loves to sit with his uncle and enjoys playing music with the guitar, but his time is limited due to the possibility of breaking it, and he always has to have someone help him.

As soon as I turned the Rocktivity Jump n Jam Guitar on, the catchy beats instantly attracted Tyler into the room I was in. He was quite excited when he spotted the Jump n Jam Guitar, knowing it for a child, he kept asking me if it was his. He was so excited to have his own personal guitar that he can sing, dance and jump around with.  No having to sit in a chair while he gently presses the buttons it was designed for an active little children.

The Jump n Jam Guitar helps to promote fine & gross motor skills as well as sensory development. The guitar features a clicking spinner, a twanging whammy bar that plays music when moved and an elephant that plays music and sound effects when pressed. There is an on/off switch that also controls the volume, loud our louder. The first level is loud enough, and we rarely need to put it on the 2nd level.

Tyler loves to jam and play music while he dances and tries to sing his abc’s. The bright colors of the guitar are the catchy and fun, and I don’t have to worry about strings being broken, as the guitar was designed for little hands. The guitar plays 10+ songs including the popular songs; What I Like About You, and “Rock and Roll All Nite” by Kiss. The faster you play, the faster the songs will play.

The Rocktivity Jump n Jam Guitar is recommend for children 9 months and up. Younger children can sit on the floor and press the buttons while older children can stand up and jam. Tyler, who just turned 3 is a huge fan, while 4 1/2 year old Jacob thinks it’s to “babyish”.
