The first diapers that Jacob & Ty ever wore were Pamper’s Swaddlers, they were so soft and had images of Cookie Monster & Elmo on them. (No wonder why Ty is huge Elmo fan, he’s been around him 24/7 since birth!) I always heard about children getting rashes due to a diaper and I was hoping we would have no issues, as we had a stockpile of Pampers Swaddlers in our closet from friends and family. I’m glad to say that we never had any issues, and I never thought twice when we had to purchase additional diapers or purchase a gift for a baby shower, Pampers Swaddlers was always on the top of the list.
While Jacob was able to wear the Newborn size for a couple weeks, weighing in at almost 10 lbs at birth Tyler was quickly a size 2, and before long he was in a size 3. One day I went shopping for size 4s and couldn’t find them anywhere, I would go from store to store and couldn’t believe no one had any 4s in stock, that’s when I looked online and found out that they were not available, well until now!
It’s no secret that today’s moms feel overextended. There’s so much to do and only so many hours in the day! Audrey McClelland, Founder of MomGenerations.com, has four children under the age of eight (and another on the way) and she’s teamed up with P&G to offer her own tips and tricks for keeping the balancing act going. One of Audrey’s secrets: stick with what works. That’s why she is so excited about the launch of Swaddlers in sizes 4 and 5, and available at Target.
Join Pampers, Target, @AudreyMcClellan, @MomItForward, and a panel of experts tonight, January 22, from 9-10 pm EST as they chat about ways to make mom’s life easier. Visit the RSVP page on the Mom it Forward website for more details about the party.
