This Independence Day, Bruegger’s Bagels is showing its patriotism with its annual sale of red, white and blue bagels at participating locations nationwide on July 3 and 4. Bruegger’s has sold the American favorites every July 4 holiday since 2001.
Bruegger’s will also honor America’s military heroes with a three-day fundraiser for Homes For Our Troops, a nonprofit organization that helps severely injured servicemen and women and their families build handicap-accessible new homes through donations of money, building materials and professional labor.
Monday, July 2 through Wednesday, July 4. Bruegger’s will donate a portion of proceeds from every Big Bagel Bundle purchase to Homes For Our Troops. The Big Bagel Bundles, perfect for picnics or to feed house guests for the long weekend, include 13 bagels of the guest’s choice, and two tubs of Bruegger’s cream cheese. Through the fundraiser, Bruegger’s hopes to help Homes for our Troops with funds to build specially adapted homes for severely wounded veterans.
What an extra treat to purchase a Big Bagel Bundle made up of 13 red, white and blue bagels and serve them for breakfast or make sandwiches out of them for lunch on July 4th!
We actually headed to Bruegger’s for lunch today and the boys were so excited to see red, white, and blue bagels, of course we had to bring a few extra home! According to the kiddos red, white, and blue (plain) bagels taste so much better then plain bagels. Crazy how a “cool” color can instantly win a child over.
Now I’ll just have to dye their bread and maybe they will eat their lunch sandwiches quicker.
