During the summers we usually spend a lot of time at our lake house that my grandparents own in New Hampshire. The main cottage that hosts the kitchen is small and space is very limited so I am always on the lookout for space saving products. I recently came across Uncommon Goods, not only do they have unique gifts but they also have some great space saving products for the kitchen.

After browsing through their kitchen products, I decided on the Nesting Prep Bowls.
I couldn’t believe how much you could condense into one bowl. The nesting prep bowls include:
- 1 large mixing bowl, 56 oz.
- 1 colander/strainer
- 1 sieve
- 1 small mixing bowl, 17 oz.
- 4 measuring cups: 1/4, 1/3, 1/2 and 1 cup
This set includes all of the needed kitchen tools that I need to prep meals – measuring cups, strainers, and mixing bowls. Inside of the small mixing bowl I was surprised to see measurements for oz and pints, this additional feature will be great for baking. The unique design off the bowls and measuring cups allows all of the products to fit all inside of each other while looking neat and organized. Another great feature of the nesting bowl set is that it is dishwasher safe, although there is no dishwasher at the lake house so we have to hand wash everything it is nice to know that the Nesting Prep Bowls set can be place in the dishwasher.
This set is very easy to store and handles on the side made the bowls portable and easy to carry around. I no longer have to go searching for measuring cups, I know they will all be neatly organized in this set. No more bowls, measuring cups and strainers taking up cabinet space, they all stacked conveniently together.
If I could change one thing about this set, I would have loved to have a cover for the top, not only would I be able to store ingredients in the big mixing bow, but I would be able to place the set on an open shelf and not have to worry about any of the bowls/measuring cups getting dirty.
