Rubbermaid Clean & Dry Plunger {Review & Giveaway}

With two little boys who seem to “accidentally” put too much toilet paper in the toilet every so often a reliable plunger in the bathroom is a must have. I’m not sure about you, but cleaning up soaked bathroom rugs is not my idea of having fun. Rubbermaid has recently introduced a new Clean & Dry Plunger which helps to repel water for less mess.

The Clean & Dry Plunger is coated in NeverWet nanotech coating. The coating is like car wax and the water beads up and rolls off instantly. It helps to repel and minimize the spread of germs, and you don’t have to worry about water dripping on the floor after you use the plunger. The coating will last for thousands of cycles but it is very important to not use soaps or to touch the coating as oils will cause it to break down. If you need to clean the plunger you can use bleach.

I was anxious to see if the plunger would drip water after use, our previous plunger always leaves a circular water mark on the ground after use, and you can usually see a few drips on the toilet seat, I can just imagine how many germs it was leaving. I was happy to see that after using the plunger I never saw a drop drip from it, no water being spilled on the toilet seat and especially no water left on the floor underneath the plunger.
