Yesterday turned out beautiful, the sun was shining and for once rain was not expected so we decided to spend the day outdoors enjoying the nice warm weather. Since my husband loves his new found fishing spot in Natick (about 30 minutes away) and I had been wanting to go to the Britax event we all decided to hop in the car and spend the day down there. I dropped my husband and Jacob off at their favorite fishing spot while Tyler and I decided to stop by Destination Maternity for the Britax Expect Greatness Tour. I never expected so many amazing prizes to be given away! If the tour is stopping near you I highly recommend going, I can’t believe how much they gave away! No one went home empty handed, a B-READY Stroller, BOB Stroller, B-AGILE + car seats, & accessories galore!
Every hour or so they ran a contest with 4 contestants so the chances of winning were very high. It started at 11 and I got there about 2. Once I got there I was asked how I felt about taking place in a diaper changing contest to win a car seat, hmmm babies, diapers, car seat, SURE! Within minutes someone would be winning an Advocate Car Seat in the pattern of their choice. There was four of us competing and we had to put a diaper on a baby, put pants on the baby, then put the Britax Child Carrier on and place the baby in it, the first person to do it won the Advocate, 2nd place won a Child Carrier + Accessories, and the two other contestants won accessories. I came in second missing first by .7 seconds. Later on four more people competed to win a B-READY & 2nd place was a Chaperone Car Seat, it was hilarious watching the men put on a baby carrier and pushing around the B-AGILE one handed. Then at 3:30 was the big raffle that everyone could enter, the top prizes were a BOB Stroller, B-AGILE, and B-SAFE, and everyone else – at least 20-25 people won some type of accessory, a baby carrier or free movie tickets to see What To Expect When You’re Expecting.
I originally went to check out the new B-AGILE Double, and the new 2012 B-READY, I never expected to go home with a bag filled with over $200 in prizes. Thanks, Britax!!!
