Baby Einstein Releases All-New Products For Baby in 2012 | Music & Discovery Travel Mirror

Having two little boys we have gone through our fair share of toys, baby gear and books. One company I love seeing in the store isles is Baby Einstein. The boys have have a number of Baby Einstein DVDs, books, and when they were younger we had a number of baby and teething toys. I love how all of the teething toys and books are brightly colored, one of my favorite baby toys is their Bendy Ball which we still have today.

About Baby Einstein:

Our focus is to create high-quality, innovative products that bring the
arts and humanities to babies in a way that’s fun and appropriate to
their age. We strive to put your baby first in everything that we do.
We are committed to being a resource to you and to helping you
appreciate the job you’re doing as a parent – the most important and
rewarding job anyone can have.

The Baby Einstein Company has recently released new toys and gear to help introduce Baby to the serene sights in sounds in 2012. Six of the products recently released are the Sweet Sea Dreams Mobile, Sea Dreams Soother, Peek-A-Scene, Count & Discover Treasure Chest, Music & Discovery Travel Mirror, and the Baby Neptune Activity Saucer. We had the chance to try out the Music & Discovery Travel Mirror.

Music & Discovery Travel Mirror Features:

  • Four play modes
  • Discovery mode Introduces baby to colors and shapes in 3 languages
  • Lights and melodies
  • Melodies
  • Lights only
  • Adjustable straps for use over most headrests
  • Sun dial timer

The Music & Discovery Travel Mirror can be used at home or in the car and features dancing lights, brightly colored characters, and melodies. The brightly colored objects instantly draw your attention to the mirror and the melodies calm and soothe baby.  There are 4 modes in the Music & Discovery Travel Mirror and 3 languages available: English, Espanol, and Francais. The classical melodies offer 10+ minutes of continuous play.

The travel mirror is great to keep baby entertained and soothed while on car rides, especially if you take long trips like we often do. The mirror can be easily attached to the back seat headrest or the front seat headrest with the adjustable straps. In addition to entertaining Baby the driver also can look in the rear view mirror and see Baby’s reflection when Baby is rear faced.

I love the design of the travel mirror, not only does the music and flashing lights help to soothe baby, but I also like the ability to look in the rear view mirror and see Baby in the back seat. Seeing Baby’s face and knowing she/he is safe adds security while in the car. The only thing I would add to the mirror is a remote so while I am driving I have the ability to turn the music or lights on if Baby gets fussy.

Buy It: You can purchase the Baby Einstein Music & Discovery Travel Mirror for approximately $29.99 at Toys R Us and Target.
