We received a new game from Hasbro a few weeks ago and just in time for the Christmas festivities called Simon Flash. Simon Flash is made up of four tiles that players shuffle and swap out at Simon's command. Simon Flash adds a fun little twist to the original 1980s Simon game.
Four games in one:
- Simon Classic- Sucessfully repeat the growing sequences of colored lights.
- Simon Shuffle- A pattern of lights is revealed in a flash but the lights then shuffle and player have to get them back to the original pattern.
- Simon Lights Off- Line up all the cubes in the correct order to make all the lights turn off. Move quickly though, the game only lasts for 90 seconds.
- Simon Secret Color- Keep rearranging the cures until they all light up as the same color.
Recommended Age: 8+
Buy It: You can purchase Simon Flash at retailers nationwide including Toys R Us for $29.99.
Simon Flash is a great way to pass the time when you want a little challenge. It allows for only one player at a time but if you have more then one person you can easily play one after the other, or take turns. Although the game is recommend for ages 8 and up, Little Man had a fun time helping me to remember the colors to put them back in the correct sequence.
