As the new year begins I am going to try something new, Project 366 (yup this year is a leap year!) I'm going to try my best to post 1 picture a day for a year! I have been wanting to try out some new features of my Nikon, yeah I know, I have been saying this for the past year, maybe now I'll start reading the manual and testing out different settings. I'm sure there are some pretty cool features I'll love.

That's a great idea! Having a goal to remind you to take everyday pics and not just events pics will probably give you WAY better photos for your kids to look back on. Snapshots always turn out better than "staged" pics in my opinion. I am in the same dilemna, a camera I have NO idea how to use. Hubby gifted me it and has all the bells and whistles I dont know how to use. Truly I would have wanted something lighter and less expensive cause now feel guilty for having something we should not have purchased and cant even figure out how to use it. gaaahhhh!
