Urban Advantage Stroller Review

As our family strives to become more active we take almost daily walks around our neighborhood and around the local nature trail. Little Man love to walk the nature trails and find different leaves, rocks and sticks to collect in a bucket. Our currently stroller has 4 wheels and it is sometimes hard to walk on uneven surfaces throughout the woods so we have been looking into a three wheeled stroller when I came across the Urban Advantage by GoGo Babyz.

The Urban Advantage took a minute to put together, the stroller came almost fully assembled, you just had to attach the wheels, parent tray, child’s tray, and the break. Everything went smooth except for the brake piece. The pictures in the instructions did not match up with the stroller pieces so my husband had to use a little guess work to attach the brake. After a few minutes he was able to place the break on correctly.

The Urban Advantage stroller is for children up to 40 lbs, it can be used as a travel system, and accepts the Graco® SnugRide® or SafeSeat™ Infant car seat. When used with the infant car seat you just have to make sure to use the attached safety strap. The seat reclines into four positions, and the adjustable leg
rest provides extra comfort. The seat cushion is also removable and is machine washable which is a big plus. When the seat is fully reclined it the storage compartment underneath is not very accessible. I have to put the seat up a little bit in order to take out the diaper bag. Usually when Baby Boy naps I will keep things I need, like my wallet or the keys, easily accessible in the two rear bonus pockets that are behind the seat. The child’s tray is detachable which makes it easier to lay Baby Boy down when he is sleeping.

The 12-inch wheels are airless, so you do not have to worry about running to the gas station when they run out of air. The airless wheels provide easy handling and a smooth ride on sidewalks and dirt paths, they are great for when we go on the nature trail. The front wheel turns 360 degrees which allow you to get around tight paths and narrow store isles. The break is easy to use, you simply push down to engage the break, and push the lever to release the break. When the break is engaged a  brake-activated kickstand provides added stability and safety.

The stroller closes fairly easy with the one-handed folding system, but it has a manual lock which I am not a fan of. I would much rather close the stroller and have it automatically lock instead of having to latch the lock on myself. When I am trying to get both the boys in the car after shopping, the last thing I want is the hassle to lock a stroller.

Overall, the Urban Advantage stroller is great for everyday use, we love to use it on walks throughout the neighborhood and on the nature trail. I love not having to worry about a flat tire and having to put air in it, I also like how you can wipe it clean which is a must have with two little boys. The only downfall is the manual lock.
