I have seen kids and teens wearing Heelys numerous times throughout the past few years and I have always wondered what they felt like to wear and how easy they were to skate in. When I found out they came in adult sizes I couldn’t wait to try a pair. Never heard of Heelys? Heelys are a two in one shoe, they are a regular shoe as well as a skate. You can easily put the wheels in or take them out.
I received a pair of the Heelys Jazzy style. The wheels were very easy to put in and take out. Before I put the Heelys on I took a look at the General Heelys Skating Info to get an idea on how to wear/skate with them, and I watched a couple videos. The Heelys took a little bit to get used to with the wheels on them, but after roaming through the house and out in the driveway I was able to handle them a lot better. I thought I did pretty good, but compared to the little kids that skate really fast in them I look like a newbie. Heelys are fun and exciting, I can see why they are so popular among children.
