Sizzlin' Summer: Chocoley Review {$50 Gift Certificate Giveaway} US/CAN

I have had a huge craving for chocolate lately, so when an amazing package full of chocolates from Chocoley showed up on my doorstep you can just imagine how excited I was. Chocoley has everything you need to make delicious chocolate desserts, candies, and even caramel apples!

About Chocoley:

Whether real chocolate or compound, Chocoley is in a completely different class than the overwhelming majority of raw chocolate ingredients available nationwide (whether through the web, catalogs, etc.), and especially compared with mass produced grocery store chocolate products. Don’t let well known brand names fool you. Just because a company has been around for a hundred years and they’ve advertised that they have "the very best chocolate," doesn’t make it true. Quality is quality, and cheap is cheap. The difference in our chocolate is not just the ingredients but that the chocolate is produced in relatively small batches (in comparison to other brands we’ve been able to research) and is therefore produced with far superior quality control from batch to batch. Because of this, the Chocoley Indulgence line is an "artisan" chocolate. It’s like comparing your mother’s homemade "secret" recipe using fresh ingredients and the special way she makes that fantastic dish, that no one else can seem to reproduce or even come close to duplicating.

We had a few apples so I decided to make some caramel apples drizzled with milk and white chocolate. The process was very simple and we started out with melting the caramel in the microwave, once we covered the apples with caramel we let them sit and harden for a little bit and then drizzled them with milk and white chocolate. The Drizzle and Design bottles came in very handy and prevented a big mess when it was time to put the drizzle the chocolate on the apples. After I covered them with chocolate I patiently waited for them to harden in the fridge, once they were hardened I quickly bit into one, it was simply delicious.

In addition to the raspberry cream center and caramel you can also purchase a variety of other creams at Chocoley including butter cream, coconut dough, strawberry cream, key lime cream, and orange cream. The cream centers are great for making chocolate candies.

I can't wait to experiment with the rest of our chocolates, we are going to make some raspberry filled candies next week.
