Lindt Gold Easter Bunny {Review & Giveaway}

The beginnings of Lindt & Sprüngli are in 1845, when father and son for the first time manufactured solid chocolate in their small confectionery Sprüngli & Son, at that time yet a partnership. Since then, the company has gone through many different eras, but the entrepreneurial spirit and passion for making chocolate that drove both the Sprüngli family as well as Rodolphe Lindt, when he invented the first truly melting chocolate and later on sold his business to Sprüngli, are still alive. 

I have been a huge fan of Lindt ever since I first heard of them, their truffles are amazing! With Easter right around the corner, I recently had the opportunity to try the Lindt Gold Bunny. This bunny is very well made, it was boxed up with ice and survived the trip to my house, and lets just say its not a smooth ride in that UPS truck. Most hollow Easter Bunny would be broken and in pieces but the Lindt Gold Bunny was all in once piece and was perfect.

Of course this Bunny didn’t make it to Easter, it was just calling my name. Little Man and Baby Boy had to try it also. All you heard for a few minutes was mmmm out of Little Man’s mouth, and Baby Boy screaming “more!” I had to quickly hide the second bunny because they devoured the first bunny and wanted more. The Lindt Gold bunny is made with rich chocolate and was simply delicious.

Update: Guess I didn’t hide that 2nd Bunny too good, came into the Kitchen to Baby Boy screaming “more”, and Little Man opening it.
