With the holidays sneaking up pretty quick it is very easy to get stressed out, and feel overwhelmed. I have found some great ways to help relieve those stressful times and to make this the Ultimate Holiday Season for me and my family so here are some tips that may help you.

Ten Tips for Making this the Ultimate Holiday Season for Me & My Family.
1. Holiday Movies: We kick off the holiday season by watching holiday movies, I love the Charlie Brown Christmas Movie, the Grinch, and Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, Little Man loves Frosty the Snowman the best.

2. Shop Early: I shop all year round and store the presents in our attic or basement, by the time December comes along my shopping is almost done and I have saved a ton of money. More and more stores are coming out with great deals in October & November.

3. Decorating the House: Christmas is my favorite holiday, I go crazy decorating out house inside and out. My husband is not a fan of our Snowman themed bathroom this year but he seems to be getting used to it.

4. Making Gingerbread Houses: My mother started this tradition when I was younger and I have made and decorating a gingerbread house ever since I can remember, I plan to carry on this tradition with my two little boys.

5. Decorating Sugar Cookies: I'm not a fan of gingerbread cookies so we tend to decorate sugar cookies, we make sure to save a couple extra to leave for Santa on Christmas Eve.

6. Outings:
We love to go out to Christmas Themed events, our local library had a Chrsitmas party this past weekend where the kids got to snack on cookies and hot cocoa while visiting with Santa and making crafts.

7. Have a Yearly Tradition: When I was younger we used to always open one present on Christmas Eve, I plan to carry this tradition on to my family and I also plan to get the boys a new pair of pajamas of Christmas Eve.

8. Shop Hasbro Ultimate Gifts: Hasbro has some great gifts for children of all ages, and also for adults. You can shop for anyone on your holiday list and score some great deals.

9. Turn off the Computer's and Televisions: Spend quality time with your family. I love to spend nights in front of the fire while playing board games and eating veggies & dip.

10. Shop Online: I have seen so many online shopping deals this year, and have made some great purchases. I hate having to stand in hour long lines and I like being able to shop while the kids are napping, it can get hard lugging around two little ones in busy stores.

I hope some of my ideas and tips have helped you to make this the Ultimate Holiday Season. What are some of your ideas for making this the Ultimate Holiday Season?
