Disney Channel's Playhouse Disney has a new show airing on
September 13th, 2010 called Timmy Time!

Some of you may recognize Timmy from Aardman's hit children's series Shaun the Sheep. Timmy is the baby lamb on the farm who is usually drawn into all kinds of chaotic adventures by the mischievous older sheep. Timmy is now heading to preschool to catch up on some important life lessons about playing nicely and sharing with others. Timmy has some bad habits and needs some help to break those habits.

We received a DVD with a preview episode of Timmy Time. As soon as I turned the DVD on Little Man instantly came running over and was absorbed in the TV. The intro sound is very catchy and draws you in. The pictures are bright and attractive.

The episode we watched was about cleaning up after yourself, waiting your turn and sharing. The episode started out in a classroom where the animals were painting, it was time to go outside and play so all of the other animals cleaned up but Timmy did not. The teacher would not allow Timmy outside until he picked up all of his painting supplies so Timmy then proceed to clean up.

After Timmy learned that he had to clean up after himself he went outside where all of the animals were waiting in-line to ride on the race car, Timmy did not want to wait in line so he cut everyone and went to the front. The teacher would not allow Timmy to ride the race car and made him go to the end of the line. Timmy bribed the animals to go play with something else so that he could get to the front of the line quicker. By the time he got to the front of the line after bribing the other animals to leave, playtime was over and he had to go back inside the classroom.

Timmy was a bad lamb and snuck out of the classroom to ride the race car, Timmy didn't know how to ride the race car and crashed in to everything. The teacher had a talk with Timmy and Timmy had to clean up the playground. To learn his lesson the teacher gave Timmy a checklist of things he needed to complete, like driving around and not crashing the race car. Once Timmy completed the list everyone cheered and Timmy was excited. Timmy learned his lesson to clean up after himself, to wait his turn, and to share.

Little Man watched the whole episode of Timmy Time and didn't move an inch. Timmy Time is different from most Children's Shows.  Besides the intro song none of the animals talk, they just make little animal noises. I didn't know if Little Man would like the show because no one talked but he loved it. I love how this show teaches valuable life lessons. Little Man will be going to preschool in a year and this show will teach him good behaviors. I will definitely be keeping an eye out for new episodes of Timmy Time for Little Man to watch.

Timmy Time is scheduled to air in North America from September 13, 2010 on Disney Channel's Playhouse Disney.
