I received a Munchie Mug to review and I already love it! I wish I knew about this product sooner, it would have come in handy during our many road trips, especially the one we just got back from, and for all of those trips to the grocery store when Little Man becomes inpatient (because I always take like an hour) and he wants a snack.
The Munchie Mug features a screw on top that makes it very difficult for children to open. It can be used at home, or on the go. It is also very easy to clean, All of the parts are dishwasher safe, just make sure you clean them in the top rack of a dishwasher.
I bought a snack container soon after my son starting eating solids over a year ago but the opening of the container was plastic and didn't work well, he was always able to turn it over and spill all of his cheerios out. I just put a bunch of cheerios in the Munchie Mug and turned it upside down and shook it, not even one cheerio fell out! Which is a big plus for me.
We usually have a bag of animal crackers, Cheerios or raisins in the diaper bag for when we go out or in the car, Little Man loves to turn the bag over and spill them everywhere. If there is one thing my husband hates dirty, it is his SUV. He loves his Yukon, it is his other baby and he is constantly cleaning it and washing it. He likes to keep it spotless which is kind of hard with two little ones, it used to be impossible to give Little Man a snack in it without him spilling food everywhere, but not anymore thanks to the Munchie Mug. I love how the soft cloth opening on the Munchie Mug is always closed so you do not need to worry about food spilling out.
Little Man tested out the Munchie Mug with animal crackers when we drove up to the store earlier and I didn't find one animal cracker on the floor or in between the seats, I really like the cloth opening, and how it closes as soon as he takes his hand out so the snacks don't spill.
